De Sprong

Let op: De Sprong is een herschreven versie van de voorstelling Er Is Iets die Nora in April vorig jaar eenmalig in Splendor speelde, en er zal dan ook veel materiaal in terugkomen. Voor wie er toendertijd bij was: kom vooral kijken als je het leuk vindt de ontwikkeling van deze voorstelling mee te maken!

Om maar meteen met de deur in huis te vallen: de Zangeres Nora Fischer is deze avond niet aanwezig. In plaats van zingen, gaat Persoon Nora vertellen waaróm ze niet gaat zingen. Een tijdlang kon ze dat namelijk niet meer, door een complexe verkramping die haar strottenhoofd in een zodanige houtgreep hield dat zelfs Happy Birthday voor haar beste vrienden er niet meer uitkwam.

Hoe kon zoiets gebeuren? Met die vraag graaft Nora zich een weg in de rondte, via de verstikkende druk van 's werelds grootste podia, tot persoonlijkere vraagstukken die ze als venijnige angels uit haar systeem moest trekken om haar keelspieren weer tot ontspanning te manen. Geen voorstelling voor wie zorgeloos wil wegdromen in live muziek; wél een voorstelling voor wie Nora wil bijstaan in een persoonlijke openbaring van dat wat we stilletjes allemaal wel weten: niets is wat het lijkt.

Member concert
Splendor can only be the independent and free hub that it is, thanks to the members who support us. We pay them back with our specialty: music. Every year, all Splendor musicians play one concert that's free for this crucial group to whom Splendor owes its everyday existence. Combined with many other events, this means that our members have free entrance to about 80 concerts a year for €9,99 p/m (and €4,99 p/m for minima and students!) – and receive a discount for all other concerts. The members enable Splendor to remain independent, which is the only way to secure real freedom in programming, experimentation, risk-taking and the promotion of young, upcoming artists.
