Stringed Stories: Oene - Siebren - River
A (chamber) musical string adventure by three leading players from the jazz and improv scene
River and Oene (both Splendor musicians) have been playing together for several years now, combining exuberant, adventurous improvisation with understated, original chamber music pieces. Both are also friends with guitarist Siebren Smink, and it was a great desire of both of them to play with Siebren in a trio. Siebren's virtuoso playing possesses many timbres and a rich harmonic palette.
In this live concert, they will perform new original work as a trio and will also record a live album. You are welcome!
