Our Voices - Concert
Looking for the musical sense of the voices around us
In the Our Voices Project Wytze Minne de Swart is been looking for musicality in speech. During the day at the exhibition multiple interactive installations will be presented. The visitor will be challenged to listen again to the sound of a voice without getting distracted by the meaning and association of words, listening to the melody, harmony, rhythm and phrasing of the voice.
In the evening one can discover even more on the versatile sound world that the speaking voice is so rich of. Wytze will play himself multiple solo works around the theme and an ensemble consisting of violin, saxophone, voice and movement artists will be performing a new work around the sensation of hearing voices from the womb. Please be welcomed explore together the sounds of our voices.
