On Saturday evening, October 9th, Splendor Amsterdam will visit the Waalse Kerk. For one evening, a colourful delegation of Splendor musicians will exchange their cosy bathhouse on the Nieuwe Uilenburgerstraat for a centuries-old oasis of light and space, hidden in the shadows of the Red Light District a short distance away.
This way, as many Splendor members as possible can be (re-)introduced to one of Amsterdam’s most atmospheric concert venues, a stone's throw from Splendor's home base. And to treat as many visitors as possible to the Waalse Kerk for an unrepeatable evening of great music - music which Splendor’s musicians have been making together since 2013 in the intimate setting of their own clubhouse. Music from old to new, and from there to here.
Splendor Amsterdam and the Waalse Kerk: two unique music venues in the heart of Amsterdam, just a short walk away from each other. They will meet on October 9th!
