Sealf
A sonic salve for an [increasingly] abbrasive eraIn reaction to the state violence in Minneapolis, Sealf is cooking a fresh new sonic resistance. Employing their deep research as soundsmiths to handle ongoing developments with meticuluous sonic nuance, reminding us of the love and strength that can be found in [yet another] darkening corner of the world.
Following a short residency, Sealf returns to splendor to present the most recent developments in their persuit of the crease between the experimental soundscape and modern song; between togetherness and isolation; between intimacy and broadcast. Splendoriaan Thomas Myrmel has been developing this light and flexible duo together with Jonathan Nagel for the last few years, and these latest sounds draw heavily on the terrible state violence currently being perpetrated against the population of Minneapolis, Thomas's city of origin.
