Angel with a Darkness

FENNE is an artist from Utrecht that promises to be her authentic self in everything she does. She’s transcending the boundaries of just one genre by combining modern pop with jazz influences. “To make every stage feel like a living room”, is her goal.

Her first album, Hope, did very well and multiple songs were put in Spotify playlists like “Morning Tea” and “Jazz X-press”. With her EP, Beyond The Wall, FENNE toured with her band and backing vocalists at Popronde (9 shows), and played the songs during FENNE’s episode of NTR’s “New Generation”. The live shows provide a confidential feeling, making everyone feel at home. The band is not afraid to put some energy and some explosive moments in the set, making it a different and more lively experience than the recording.

On the 15th of November 2024, Fenne presents her second album “Angel With A Darkness” in Tivoli Vredenburg, Utrecht. This album was made possible by SENA & Amarte Fonds. December 18 she will present it at Splendor @Uilenburgersjoel! The album tells a story about love; it’s an expression of a personal process in which the repeating themes and “mistakes” will be shown through the music. “I could make a living as a boat ‘Cause even though you drown me I still float But I can’t cross this wild river”.
