Felix Schlarmann
Felix Schlarmann plays the drums in numerous jazz bands and projects.Jazz drummer Felix Schlarmann is active in big bands as well as in experimental impro-settings. Next to a busy schedule as a player he is a part of the faculty at the jazzdepartement of the Royal Conservatory in The Hague. Also Felix is active in organising events like the Jazzfest Amsterdam.
Being a busy player and founder and programmer of Jazzfest Amsterdam he is a key figure in the Amsterdam jazz scene. The German-born drummer tours the globe with power jazz formation BRUUT!
Additionally, he plays as a sideman or co-leader in many other formations. With the well appreciated album Counterlife he made his recording debut as a composer.
