Elizabeth Fadel & Floor Polder - Brazilian jazz musicElizabeth Fadel (BR) and Floor Polder (NL) have been playing together since 2013 in the band Banda Fulô, among others, but today they are giving a special concert in duo. The music tells the story of two cultures that find each other in the differences and similarities. They both have different music backgrounds, Elizabeth studied harpsichord at the Royal Conservatory in The Hague and Floor Polder jazz and Latin music at Codarts in Rotterdam, but they find each other in the interest in Brazilian music. And it doesn't stop there, they form the band called "Banda Fulô" and have shared a house together called "Casa das Flores''.
They have performed in Brazil, but also in the Netherlands at places such as Grounds, Bimhuis and festivals such as Breda Jazz Festival, North Sea Round Town and Grachten Festival. Floor currently lives in Rio de Janeiro, but despite the distance, the warmth in the music between these top musicians is very noticeable. The fun on stage, the interaction and the spontaneity is beautiful to see!
