Quartetto di Vicini

The four musicians Yuko Hara (viola), Konstanze Lerbs (violin), Nuala McKenna (cello) and Daniel Sepec (violin) have been playing together in the Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie Bremen for a long time. In 2021 they founded the 'Quartetto di Vicini'. On this evening they present themselves with two string quartets by Joseph Haydn and Leoš Janáček’s second string quartet 'Intimate Letters'. The quartet plays on gut strings and performs Janáček's work with viola d’amore, a version originally intended by the composer.
