Exiting Chaos
An operatic experiment inspired by the psyche and work of Sylvia PlathA contemporary operatic experiment at the edge of desire, chaos, and catharsis. Inspired by the psyche and work of Sylvia Plath.
Exiting Chaos is our personal journey out of a state of mind where everything pulls you in different directions at once. A mind overloaded with information, full of desires, and weighed down by obligations from all sides.
The result? A physical and mental numbness—where even the smallest decision feels out of reach, and taking a single step seems impossible. Coming from different artistic backgrounds, we tried to create a shared language—one where speech, music, visuals, and drama all play an equal role.
Along the way, we faced our own chaos—and found a way through it.
Our discoveries can now be sung, sounded, performed, and drawn—
in this staged collage of sound, image, and voice.

Did you ever dream of having a cocktail—
while wanting to pray,
sleep,
cuddle your cat,
and at the same time, you couldn’t shake the thought of joining an orgy,
booking a holiday,
and also just locking yourself in a closet and disappearing for a while?
All of it—at once.
How do such dilemmas find an end?
How do we step out of the chaos?
Sylvia Plath found a way out.
We’re trying something different.
Balancing on a tightrope,
with you,
to tell a story—through music, text, singing and live drawing.
